Concept... Leonard Engineering Design
Associates - LEDA - was conceived by the Managing
Director, Phil Leonard with the sole aim of offering clients a higher quality of
building services consultancy than they could procure elsewhere.
Our longstanding affiliation with
Tuckers Consultancy based in Canary Wharf provides increased resource and
flexibility and design skills incorporating all sectors of engineering services
design including IT systems.

Success...
The success of the LEDA approach towards Clients and their projects is emphasised by the repeat commissions that are regularly received from such Corporate Clients as BUPA, various NHS Trusts, and Pegasus Retirement Homes for whom we provide consultancy advice for all of their schemes nationwide. Our office engineering design experience is extensive and we are regularly employed by major property specialists such as Colliers CRE to carry out condition surveys and designs. Our office design experience has provided such Clients as Samsung, Bristol Myers Squibb, Servier and Roche Diagnostics with first class new office accommodation.

Philosophy... The LEDA
philosophy is to work together with the client to gain and develop client
confidence and trust based on a pro-active approach to all matters of service
performance requirements. This ensures that the end product is what the client
wants and not what the designer thinks he should have.
Experience... LEDA's project
experience ranges from healthcare projects both in the NHS and the private
sector, laboratories, through commercial offices, finance houses, and the hotel
and retail sectors to specialised CHP schemes. We have extensive surveying
experience to establish condition and suitability of existing services
installations both in the commercial and residential sector.
Project Management...
All of our engineers are experienced and trained
to act independently and professionally to not only design but project manage
the development of the engineering services brief with the client, and the
design and installations as appropriate.
Leaders... LEDA
also regularly act as Lead Consultants for several of their Clients, for example
the Bank of Scotland, Liberty Eurasia and Guys & St. Thomas' NHS Trust &
Workspace where we have received commissions for projects which are
predominantly M & E based but where we also provide the full range of
professional services all under LEDA's control.
Healthcare... LEDA's
extensive experience in healthcare design and engineering is we believe at the
forefront and is enhanced by it's associate Practice de Vere Healthcare. This
consultancy headed by Virginia de Vere provides a specialist outsource for
preparation of business cases, hospital planning and briefing information
amongst many other varied and specialist commissions. We are currently working
on several PFI schemes nationwide up to £140 M in value.
