Project Scope

This project involved the full mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) design and coordination for a complex facility incorporating a wide range of building services. The scope included the design of a central chilled water (CHW) plant, central boiler plant, fan coil unit (FCU) systems, ventilation systems, and a building management system (BMS). Additional elements covered included power distribution, lighting and emergency lighting, lightning protection, fire alarm systems, and comprehensive infrastructure for the IT hub—encompassing cooling, ventilation, generator/UPS, and fire suppression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaised with the client to gather technical and operational requirements

  • Produced complete MEP designs and tender documentation

  • Prepared pre-tender MEP ROM cost estimates

  • Coordinated MEP design reviews and integration with architectural plans

  • Engaged with local authorities and managed utilities applications

  • Coordinated with MEP contractors and reviewed Construction Phase Plans (CPS)

  • Witnessed and signed off all commissioning activities

  • Reviewed and approved O&M manuals

  • Oversaw final handover and conducted system demonstrations to end users
